Programs, Shows and Themes

1.2.3. – ABC. Back to School – It's about time for school to start over again. Let's get our minds ready to learn. We have fun with puppets that represent the primary colors and sing songs about why they are the color that they are. The kids learn to open their ears and listen to what a crayon has to sings about colors and shapes. A magic coloring book is a lot of fun, but do the children really know how to make the color appear? The kids get to learn the ABC song but with a disco beat, and the puppet "0l' Alligator" loves to count!

50's Rock 'n Roll – Let's go back … to our parents, their parents, and more to hear songs from the 50's performed by our special puppets, see some fun magic tricks, have a bubble gum contest and more. Elvis (impersonator puppet of course, Elvis has left the building) will join us for a song also.

Be a Clown – This program will introduce your children to the art of clowning. Your performer will transform 3 of your pre-selected children into a clown before your very eyes. We will also discuss the clown make-up types and the characters.

Bunny Hop  – Here comes Peter Cotton Tail! This is a fun show full of furry floppy friendly rabbits. Golly or Jolly are dressed as bunnies themselves and do fun tricks with a giant magic bag! The show brings happiness and smiles to all the kids while performing a marionette puppet, fun bunny tricks, a hopping song, and Easter eggs all around.

Children of the World – This program teaches the kids about other children all around the world. We have puppets that are dressed and sing songs relating to their country. Some of the puppets even sing songs in their native language.

Christmas Characters – Songs are played with the characters Rudolph or Frosty. We also have Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus come for a visit. Your kids can tell Santa or Mrs. Clause what they want for Christmas or some Christmas songs will be taught. (It varies on how many kids are there.)

Circus – Your kids are the circus! In our "Backyard" circus style you will have a Ring Master, clowns, a horse act, lions, tigers, monkeys, tight ropewalkers, strongmen, ballerina dancing girls and more. A kid size circus tent is the entry way to center ring. This is definitely an audience participation program.

Cooking Show – The Queen of Cuisine will stir the children through recipes of fun while preparing Mean Soup, spaghetti, and obbie goobies. An old lady may swallow a pie while the kids are playing the fried chicken game.

Farming. Farming, Oh What An Animal Day! – Boy, what could be found on a farm? A HOT Chicken? The kids get to play a fun game with a hot chicken that is to jump from one lap to the next or else! The kids get to learn a little bit more about what chickens give to us ... EGGS! Puppets are fun to work with and the kids get to work puppets with a well-known song. We will need a good ol’ country band to play a song and more kids to act the country song out. Since we are having such a great time on the farm how about some magical homemade carrot cake ice cream?

Fire Safety This show includes the positive reinforcement of stop, drop, and roll techniques used by the Fire Department. We practice the get down and crawl out techniques as well as the stop, drop, and roll techniques. We stress the object lessons through games, songs, and magic.

Golly Poppins – Golly Poppins enters a room with a magical carpetbag full of "supercallifragilistic" fun. Ms. Poppins introduces your children to the puppets; (Burt) Mr. Chimney Sweep and Jane, the shy little girl. An English tea party is magically prepared to the delight of the children.

Grandma's Glasses – Even though Grandparent’s Day is nationally held in September, we should honor our grandparents every day of the year! The entertainer comes dressed as a grandmother (Bertha or Mertha), and tell a poem, story, and fun magic tricks as well. She also tells of her grandparents who were special to her. Bertha or Mertha try to play the fiddle, harmonica, and catch big fish like her grandpa did. Grandparents are full of heart and are proud to be a part of you!

Hawaii to Texas – Texas is far from Hawaii, but we can all have the fun right here in our big state! The kids get to learn about what is well known in Hawaii – such as lei. What kind of problem there would be without the lei on a string! The girls have fun learning a dance, and the boys make a great band. We all learn the Limbo game and we have fun playing a trick on one of the teachers as well.

Hearts & Flowers – Your entertainer is dressed as a huge heart that reads a giant history book about Valentine's Day. She also gets a great surprise from her Daddy and a present from her secret admirer as well. She has fun with the kids using music and games, and there is also some fun with the teachers. Mr. Heart, the puppet, wants to have a girlfriend but finds out that just being friends is a lot better when you are still little!

Uncle Sammy is a puppet who teaches us about the pledge of allegiance, and who also teaches us to sing the “Star Spangled Banner.” The kids will have fun playing a game with the BIG hot firecracker! And we need a band to play a fun song that all the kids know. Since this is all about the birthday of America let’s celebrate it with a magical birthday cake!

Holiday Fun!!! – Hey, it's almost Christmas so let's have some fun singing with an Elf-Jolly or leoN-and acting out songs. Not everybody has been a really good kid, just like one of our puppets; she sings the well-known song 'Nuttln' For Christmas: There is also some fun magic in making a snowman here in Texas. The older kids or teachers get to perform in the hand bell band. Christmas is not Christmas without a little story to be told or without the popular song, “Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer.” (Upon your request, the entertainer will be a funny elf or Mrs. Claus)

Home Alone – This fun program stresses safety at home with magic, a song, a game, and a "drama" with your kids as the players. The object lessons are repeated throughout the show. "Don't open the door" and "call back later" are key words we stress.

Hoo-Booville – Jolly or Golly are dressed up as friendly Scarecrows and come to have some fun with all of the kids. She will make that big green monster disappear with a little touch of magic. The children have a blast with the friendly marionette puppets (spider, ghost, skeleton, and scarecrow) who dance to fun songs. Safety issues are addressed while dressing up two of the kids as characters and they learn what to do and what not to do when they go to Fall festivals or trick-or-treating.

Jungle Show – Your safari guide will take you through fun in the jungle with animal puppets, songs, and a magical production. The kids have a lot of fun being a part of the show by performing with the puppets themselves.

St. Patrick’s Day – Having a great time with St. Patrick's day finds the kids having fun watching the entertainer with tricks and a funny puppet show. Golly or Jolly love to wear clothes in the color "green", and we look forward to see everybody else wearing the same color as well!

Story of Thanksqivinq – A Pilgrim or Native American Indian comes to your school dressed in the solemn attire of a woman Pilgrim or N.A. Indian, as she may have appeared when the Pilgrims first arrived in this country. Her Indian friend (puppet) will count to 10 with the children singing along. Turkey Lurkey (puppet) tells a story and gives a hand-clapping rendition of "Turkey in the Straw." We learn some history of the first Thanksgiving and why we are thankful today.

Stranger Danger – This program will reinforce what most children have learned and is a good, non-threatening, approach to making children aware of the danger of strangers. We discuss exactly what strangers are – People you don't know! Magic, puppetry, songs and games are a fun part of this program.

Super & Everyday HEROES – We all know of the super heroes that kids and adults want to be like, but how about our everyday heroes? We have our fireman, policeman, army, and our wonderful dads!

Wacky Weather – We become your in-house weather forecasters with detailed maps of the USA. We cover droughts, floods, tornadoes, and snow storms in a fun and educational way.

Weird Creatures – Children learn from our mild mannered puppets about some really weird creatures – out of this world. Kids have fun with songs the puppets sing and the story that goes with it.

Wild & Wacky Science – This program has a funny and magical way of looking at scientific principles such as air displacement, water evaporation, and needles that can penetrate solid latex products! A fun group game involves an active imagination to play.

Wild Wild West – The Wild Wild West cowgirl rides to your school telling tales of the Wild West and demonstrating rope magic tricks. Puppets from the Double "M" Ranch will perform with campfire songs and laughter.

Wizard of OZ – The Cowardly Lion or the Scarecrow finds his courage when a note from the Sassy Switch arrives. The lion finds the time to inform the children what to do if one is warned about tornados. The puppets, Dorothy and the Tin Man, sing and dance all the way to the rainbows end.

You Are Special/You Can Do It! – The puppet, Ticklish Ruben, loves to be silly! He sings songs about what he would like to be when he grows up, and he likes to play tricks on the kids as well. The little kids get to hold up big smiley faces while a song is played relating to the happy smiles we all should have. Each one of us is somebody special and we can do anything if we put our mind to it! We get a band to play wearing all kinds of different hats to represent that everyone is unique. A little bit of magic can give us a big smile, not a frown.

Venture Out – This fun program has tons of bugs (marionette and hand puppets – caterpillars, ladybug, spider, bumblebee, bullfrog, and butterflies) and lots of fun music and magic tricks too.
